"For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another." ~ Romans 12:4-5
As young people seeking to serve Christ, we are all part of the same body - Christ's body. We all are dependent upon one another. Without each other, we could not possibly survive, just as a human body cannot survive without its head or heart. To try to "get rid" of each other would mean pain, and eventually death, for the entire body. Each member has a function - each has a job to do in order to make the body effective.
If every member is important to the function of the body, then doesn't it mean that your dreams, ideas, and goals for the body are also important? We are not all leaders - we are not all pastors or teachers. Sometimes the rest of us feel that our opinions and our ideas aren't important. We feel they are insignificant, and thus we tend to set them to the side and try to forget them. But everyone's desires for the body are equally important. It takes everyone's pulling together for God's work to grow. At times we fail to realize that our goals and dreams ARE of value - that they are exactly what the body needs to succeed. It takes the input of everyone, not just a select few. Don't be afraid to share your goals, your burdens, and your dreams with the body, for you may help it to prosper.
