Acts 26 1-19 Paul’s testimony to King Agrippa -Paul is brought before King Agrippa
Verse 2 - shows that we are all responsible for our actions; only we, as individuals, will be brought forth unto the King to answer for our actions. Verse 8 – Paul knew Agrippa understood God was Omnipotent – we need to understand God is Omnipotent!
Verse 9 – Paul as with many today feel they are doing the right things, heading in the right direction. Even if we are saved and sanctified, we cannot get into the mindset that we don’t need improvement. There will always be some area that we can grow in, we just need to pray and ask God what he wants us to do.
Verse10-18 Paul is introduced to the Father on his journey to Damascus -This illustrates that everyone is on a journey and God will speak to us and reveal to us his purpose, letting us know what we need to do and which way he wants us to go. -We need to seek our purpose for God
Verse 19 – There in comes the question; are we going to be obedient to our “heavenly vision”?
When we are setting a vision, whether for ourselves or as a group, the vision should be something achievable; but also something that will challenge us.
Our classes’ desire over the course of the last few weeks has been in seeking, “what he would have us to do” collectively and individually that we might be, "obedient to our heavenly vision."
