Recommended settings for Facebook privacy.

After you have logged onto Facebook, click on the "Account" link at the top right (see example image below)

After clicking on the "Account" link, click on "Privacy Settings" in the drop down list (shown below)

In the next screen you can "Choose Your Privacy Settings" where you can either just set them all to "Friends Only" as shown here below

Or you can click on the "Customize settings" link further down the page which will provide the menu below where you can determine share settings in more detail.

If you customize your settings, (as is shown in the image below) we recommend setting your: "Posts by me", Photos and videos I'm tagged in", "Can comment on posts", and "Can see wall posts by friends" to the setting of: "Friends Only".

We also recommend that you set your "Friends" list on the left side of your profile page to be visible to "Friends Only"

You do this by selecting your "Profile" link on the top right (as is shown in the image below)

Then down on the left side you will find your "Friends" list box. Click on the pencil icon at the top right of that box (example shown here below).

Then click on "Change Visibility Settings" (example image below)

Then finish by setting "See my friend list" to "Friends Only" as is shown below.
